PALM SUNDAY // EASTER
Two of the Most Important and Foundational Historical Events to Christianity took place on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday! But these two days in History not only are foundational to Christianity but they are also foundational to Every Christian not only for their faith but also in their daily lives! Especially when it comes to Easter Sunday, something very important for daily living has been added to your life, but unfortunately many Christians are not aware of the amazing way we were resourced for daily living by the resurrection, and of those who are aware, few are relying upon that special gift God gave us that day! Come join us those days either to learn or have your heart stirred by these special truths!
Last year we had doubled the eggs...this year, we are adding 1,000 more! The HUNT is back AGAIN! Join us Sunday, April 14th, at 11AM in our North Lot for our Easter Egg Hunt. This will be for children ages birth-5th grade. Following our morning gathering, pick up your kiddos and head to the field! Find your ages group and get ready for the countdown. Bags will be provided but if you wish to bring your own you may do so. This is a great opportunity for your children to meet new friends and parents and families to connect with those who make up MVC. This event will be weather permitting so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates! Parents, we ask that you look in your little ones‘ bags to be sure that each item is safe for their age. We are anticipating on this to be an amazing time together!
God has demonstrated His love for us in the giving of His Son. Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, took on flesh and bore our sin and shame at the cross. His work, like the love of God is complete and full. We are forgiven, redeemed and completely made new because of what God has done. On Good Friday we pause to remember the great cost of our sin and the amazing sacrifice of love that Jesus made for us. Come and join us as we walk with our Savior through the events surrounding His death and remember together God’s great love for us this Good Friday, April 19th at 7pm.
