Praise and Thanks for what God is yet to do. We realize that our future is in God’s hands

God is not finished with us. In fact, He is just getting started here, and we believe MVC’s best years are still to come! Join us in praising God for what He is yet to do in and through us and ask Him to continue to do more than we could possibly ask or imagine for His glory!



1 Peter 1:3 (NIV) Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 

Praise God for the living hope we have in the person of Jesus. Pray for MVC to continue to look to our Good Shepherd to lead and guide us as we press on toward the good things God has for us in the days to come. 


Matthew 28:19-20 (NLT) Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Thank God for the purpose He has called us to at MVC to make disciples and for His promise to always be with us to see it through!


1 Thessalonians 5:24 (TPT) The one who calls you by name is trustworthy and will thoroughly complete his work in you.

Thank the Lord for being trustworthy and good. Praise God that He will thoroughly complete the work that He started at MVC 75 years ago!


Philippians 4:19 (NIV) And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. 

Thank God for how He has provided for us as a church and praise Him for how He will continue to meet our needs in the years to come!


Romans 4:20-21 (NLT) Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

Praise God for He is able to do all that He has promised! MVC’s hope for tomorrow is completely dependent upon God’s goodness, power and faithfulness! 


Philippians 1:3-6 (NIV) In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. 

Thank God for the privilege of being on mission together at MVC and the confidence we have in the Lord to complete the work He has begun.


Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV) Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. 

Let’s close our week of prayer together by praying these words of the Apostle Paul, mindful of the work Jesus is calling us to and will accomplish here at MVC!
