• Food Drive

The opportunity to treasure Jesus is often shown in our willingness to help those in need. At Moraine Valley one beautiful opportunity to partake is through the monthly Food Drive.

On the first Sunday of the month the community of Moraine Valley church is invited to bring non-perishable items and household products to the chapel, where a loving team of volunteers will receive them and prepare bags for families who are in a season of need. This ministry is a great way to actively engage in treasuring Jesus and blessing those here, in the body at Moraine.

Any surplus of items is donated to our ministry partner Operation Blessing to treasure those beyond our walls.

  • Grief Share

The most difficult moments in our lives often come after the loss of a loved one.  At Moraine Valley we know that the value of authentic community can be so helpful through this difficult season.

Grief Share is a caring group of people who will walk alongside you as a partner on your road to healing.  Grief Share meets weekly for thirteen consecutive weeks.  Each Grief Share session has three distinct elements: a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery, support group discussion, and a workbook for personal study and reflection.

Grief Share meets Friday nights from 7PM-PM in room 121.

  • Prayer Team

The intentionality of a fervent prayer life is key to knowing God on a deeper, more intimate level.  On Sunday morning we invite you into an intentional prayer opportunity either before the service with Pastor Pat and others or during the service with Elders and Deacons.

Before the Service – A group of brothers and sisters join Pastor Pat for a short time of prayer each Sunday morning.

You are encouraged to bring your prayer life to a new level with this intentional step for the body at Moraine.
